Studio 75 is a working studio and an artist space, located on the ground floor of a block of flats in Haggerston, East London. It was founded as a studio and as an artist-run space.
Studio 75 is run by and for artists to produce, discuss and present their work. Studio 75 presents exhibitions, screenings and events.
Studio 75 was set up to reinvigorate and renew the definition of the "artist-run space." Being neither gallery nor institution, it is an experimental space dedicated to exploring the relationship between artwork, artist and audience
Studio 75 does not stand for any particular style, criteria or school of thinking, but presents what we find to be relevant and intriguing. We aim to create a creative working and showcasing environment, away from the requirements of established structures, commercial concerns, academia and fashions in art and mass media.
Studio 75 is a non-profit, self-funded, non-commercial venture. All projects are initiated by agreement. All agreement and selection is by the Studio 75 collective.
Studio 75 does not curate exhibitions for artists. We invite artists with whom we woudl like to work.
Studio 75 does not represent artists, nor act as agents for artists. Studio 75 artists may be approached directly for sales and / or representation
